A consistent response and Berkshire-wide cooperation and support is at the heart of the new Berkshire Adults Safeguarding Policy and Procedures website, to be launched shortly.
The new website provides valuable information on safeguarding across the whole of Berkshire, as well as how to report concerns and instances of abuse. The policies and procedures will also support staff in social care to ensure that they can respond appropriately to concerns relating to abuse and neglect. It will be launched on 22 November.
Members of the public will also be able to use the website to learn about what to look out for and how to report any concerns. The website promotes the Safeguarding Board’s vision of Berkshire-wide cooperation and support across all agencies to prevent and reduce the risk of harm to adults at risk.
