Over 60's Swim

Residents over 60 can enjoy up to four hours free swimming a week at leisure centre’s across the Borough from 1 September.

As part of our new leisure contract with Places Leisure, over 60s can swim for free between 8.25am and 9.25am on Mondays and 2pm and 3pm on Wednesdays at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, and between 3pm and 4pm on Tuesdays and 9.30am and 10.30am on Fridays at Carnival Pool.

To take advantage of this opportunity, individuals will need to provide proof of age at reception when they arrive and collect a ticket. Once opened, free sessions will also be available at the new Bulmershe Leisure Centre.

“Our residents are already among the most active in the country according to the NHS. As we continue to enhance our leisure facilities throughout the Borough it’s great we are able to encourage our residents stay active and healthy with incentives like this” said Cllr Norman Jorgensen, executive member for environment, sports, environmental health, leisure and libraries.
