The spring edition of Wokingham Borough News is being delivered to your letterbox alongside this year’s Council Tax information.

As well as updates on our major highways projects, the Local Plan and Wokingham town centre regeneration, this edition also looks at an award winning paramedic home visiting service and our WISH service that designs personalised care packages for people being discharged from hospital.

You'll also find the latest on the Borough’s improving recycling rates, which is all down to your fabulous efforts. There’s a reminder about the Local Elections on 2 May, and if you believe libraries are only about books – think again.

This edition also includes a competition to win free tickets to this summer’s Marvellous Festival at Dinton.

As this is the budget edition, the centre pages are devoted to this. We have redesigned the way we explain all the budget information to make it easier to understand.

And we have extended the readers’ magazine survey from the winter edition into this one. You could win free cinema tickets by completing the questionnaire, which is both in the printed magazine as well as online on the consultations page of our corporate website.

You can also read the magazine in full on our dedicated news website.
