What is the Mayor's role

The Mayor is the first citizen of the Wokingham Borough and is a non-political position. The Mayor chairs council meetings and also attends many functions in the Borough.

Mayor's charity 

This year Cllr Stanton has chosen to support two charities: the Royal Berkshire Hospital Cancer Care Unit and the new Cancer Champion Scheme for Wokingham Borough (being set up by involve).
