Local people, of all ages, are invited to join Wokingham Borough Mayor Cllr Parry Batth and the Berkshire Maestros South Youth Brass Band to welcome the Christmas season with traditional carols on Friday 18 December at St Paul’s Church, Reading Road, Wokingham.
There will be free first-come-first-serve parking at the council offices on Shute End; Masonic Hall, Reading Road and St Paul’s Parish Rooms, Reading Road.
Berkshire Maestros South Youth Brass Band, led by James Doherty and assisted by the Bracknell and Wokingham Community Band will be playing a mixture of Christmas favourites plus some pieces of music specially arranged for the event.
Wokingham Borough Mayor Cllr Parry Batth said: "The annual Christmas carol concert is a great way to enjoy the festive season and I look forward to welcoming our residents, young and old, to this special event."
