Residents will be able to hear the latest updates on the planned Keep Hatch Beech development, which will be bringing new homes, facilities and infrastructure investment to the town, at a community forum meeting next month.
Developers have outline planning consent for up to 300 homes on the site as well as a new pub/restaurant, open green space, allotments and a noise barrier on the site. The details of design and layout for the site will be set by a ‘reserved matters’ planning application that has been submitted to Wokingham Borough Council. The developers will also be building the section of the North Wokingham Distributor Road through the site in the first two years of construction.
The community forum on Thursday 10 March will be an opportunity for all local residents to find out more about the development. Representatives from the developer consortium will give a presentation on their plans and they, together with representatives from Wokingham Borough Council’s planning team, will be able to answer residents’ questions about the development.
