Whilst carrying out the works on Meldreth Way, Lower Earley two electrical cables have been discovered.
Before we can proceed, one section needs the power disconnecting and the other requires the cable to be diverted by SSE. We are still waiting on a date for this to be carried out.
Until the power has been disconnected the works unfortunately cannot progress.
