Residents in Wokingham Without and Crowthorne will be able to find out more about highways and transport plans for the area at a public meeting to be held next month (October 12).
The Wokingham Without / Crowthorne community forum will meet at St Sebastian’s Memorial Hall, Nine Mile Ride at 7pm on Monday October 12 for a meeting dedicated to transport issues.
The area will see significant development in the years ahead, with the South Wokingham Strategic Development Location set to bring about 1,850 homes, a new primary school, sports and community facilities to the south of Wokingham town as well as other development taking place around Crowthorne.
The forum will be chaired by Wokingham Borough Council executive member for strategic planning and highways and is open to all local residents.
