Views wanted on childcare in the borough

Views wanted on childcare in the borough

18 January 2016

Wokingham Borough Council is committed to ensuring the Wokingham Borough remains one of the best places to bring up children as indicated in the Family Hotspot Report 2015.

Childcare plays an important part in this and the borough council would like to gather residents views to understand what type of childcare is used and how satisfied you are.

The information you provide will be used by the council to assess whether there are sufficient childcare opportunities in each area of the borough and also plan for the introduction of new government initiatives, such as the increase in free early years education and childcare hours for working families from September, 2017.

Your response will help to ensure that the council are able to continue to meet the needs of families within Wokingham Borough.

The survey can be found on our consultation webpage and takes five to 10 minutes (depending on how many children you have) and the deadline for completing it is Monday 8 February.
