Bestselling author Anna Jacobs is due to be visiting Wokingham Library to talk about her writing career and her new work 'One Kind Man,' which is the second novel in her Lancashire-based saga.
She will be discussing her work with visitors, at the library in Denmark Street, on Thursday, 23 August at 2pm.
Anna writes historical sagas and modern relationship novels. She is very popular with library users and was recently listed as the fourth most borrowed adult author in UK libraries.
'Pride of Lancashire' won the Australian Romantic Book of the Year Award 2006, and 'The Trader's Wife,' 'Like No Other,' 'Our Lizzie,' 'Tomorrow's Promises,' 'Bright Day Dawning,' and 'The Corrigan Legacy' have also been previously shortlisted.
Anna Jacobs was born in Lancashire at the beginning of World War Two before emigrating from the UK to Australia. She still regularly returns to the UK however, to see family and do research.
