You are welcome at the next round of Community Forums where there will be the opportunity to hear updates on major development taking place in their local areas.
Community Forums have been held in the areas of major development (Shinfield area, Arborfield Garrison, North Wokingham and South Wokingham) since 2012 and have recently been reviewed following a consultation. Following the review Wokingham Borough council is trialling a new format for the forums that will have factual presentations followed by a ‘market place’ session during which attendees will be able to discuss the issues raised informally with the presenters and other borough councillors and officers. The forum meetings will be chaired by Cllr Mark Ashwell, Executive Member for Planning, Regeneration and Communities.
Forums in November
- Shinfield Community Forum: 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday 9 November at Three Mile Cross Church Centre, Basingstoke Road
- South Wokingham Community Forum: 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday 16 November at The Bradbury Centre, Rose Street, Wokingham
- North Wokingham Community Forum: 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday 23 November at the Emmbrook Senior School, Wokingham
