Thousands of guests gathered at the Dinton Christmas Fair this weekend (7 and 8 December) where the festive fun was well and truly underway. Visitors were treated to a glittering range of funfair attractions, Winter Fire Lighting sessions, and even meetings with Santa or his Elf at their Grotto.
Attendees were also able to support local businesses, with dozens of pop-up shops to choose from selling everything from sweets to handmade Christmas decorations. Guests were also kept well fuelled across the weekend with festive food and drink from an array of bespoke vendors.
The Christmas cheer didn’t stop there, as families were able to get up close with reindeers. The team from nearby Riverways Chicken Farm educated visitors on the reindeers’ background and people were even invited to feed them a healthy treat.
“We’re thrilled to have welcomed so many people to the Dinton Christmas Fair this weekend. There were so many festive activities to choose from and it was great to see families and little ones enjoying themselves.” said Tanya Lee, Dinton Activity Centre manager.
“We were lucky enough to welcome the Bracknell and Wokingham Community Wind Band for a live performance on Sunday. It was lovely to see children joining in with Jingle Bells.”
