Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we have made the decision to cancel the annual Dinton Family Fun Weekend. For the last 10 years, the event has been held over the spring half term, traditionally lining up with the weekend before the schools go back.
We are exploring the possibility of an August date, but will make a decision closer to time, led by Government guidance.
Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure, said: “The safety of our residents remains of paramount importance during the ongoing Covid-19 crisis. We have taken the decision to cancel Dinton’s annual Family Fun Weekend, to ensure the wellbeing of our community.”
