The final countdown for Marvellous Festival

The countdown is on for Marvellous Festival which is taking place this weekend, 20 and 21 July, against the beautiful backdrop of Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst. The event is set to be a sell out and festival organisers are encouraging music lovers to get their tickets while they still can.

 

Festival goers will be able to enjoy three stages of live music across the weekend. Tribute acts include; Platinum ‘The Live ABBA Tribute Show’, Dirty Harry and Johnny Cash Revisited, to name but a few. Visitors can also delight in a range of family friendly activities, from a silent disco, to fairground rides and even the big kids’ village.

 

Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure, said: “The countdown is on for this weekend’s Marvellous Festival. I’m sure many local residents share my excitement for the array of live music acts performing this year! For those joining on Saturday, the spectacular Firework Finale is making a welcome return. I am certain that Dinton’s Black Swan Lake will provide the perfect backdrop for this glittering display.”

 

Steve Stanton, Marvellous Festival director, added: “This year’s Marvellous Festival is almost upon us. I’m sure many will share my view that our event is the perfect way to kick-start the summer holidays. Limited tickets remain, so grab your tickets while you can.”

  • One Step Behind ‘The Masters of Madness’
  • Dirty Harry
  • Bon Giovi
  • Chasing Mumford 
  • No Jacket Required 

Sunday:

  • Flash (the sound of Queen)
  • Rod Stewart tribute
  • The Brian Adams experience
  • The Prince experience
  • Johnny Cash revisited
  • A Touch of Little Mix
  • Small Fakers
