General guidance for postal voters

General guidance for postal voters

29 April 2016

Voters in the Wokingham Borough who have been sent a postal vote are being asked to be careful when detaching their ballot papers.

Due to the size of the ballot papers it has been necessary to fold the papers to put them into the envelope being sent to the voter. The ballot paper must be torn from the sheet following the perforation marks.

It is important that the ballot paper is complete, including the title of the election and the security mark to show that the ballot paper has been officially issued.
