Following 2019’s successful annual litter pick, our Localities team is now starting to plan 2020’s.

It is due to take place on the weekend of 28 and 29 March, and is run in conjunction with Keep Britain Tidy’s Great British Spring Clean.

This will be the 12th community Litter pick we have organised and during the years thousands of you have given up your time to tidy up your communities.

We get a lot of families coming along as it’s a great way to educate children in the importance of looking after our world.

The 2019 litter pick saw 25 groups across the Wokingham Borough collect more than 30 tonnes of litter.

You get to choose which of the two days, and time, you want to hold your event as well as in which area you wish to litter pick.

We provide the litter pickers and rubbish bags and arrange for the waste to be collected at the end of the event. No experience is necessary but we do suggest you wear gloves and sturdy shoes.
