Children’s Chess Club

For young people aged eight-year-old and above at Woodley Library on Thursday 2 June from 3.30pm to 5pm. Places must be booked by calling (0118) 969 0304.

 

Children's Writing Group

Share your ideas and take part in some fun writing exercises at Maiden Erlegh Library on Saturday 4 June from 10.15am to 11am. For children aged nine to 12-years-old. Places must be booked by calling 0118 966 6630.

 

Craft Time

Fun Knights and princesses themed craft session for children aged two to five-years-old at Finchampstead Library on Friday 3 June from 11.30am to noon. £1 charge, Just drop-in!

Poppy’s Place with Katrina Charman

Come and meet the author of the Poppy’s Place series, Katrina Charman at Wokingham Library on Wednesday 1 June from 10.30am to 11.30am. Katrina will read some of her fantastic stories and you can also make your own version of Poppy the cat to take home. For children aged seven to 11-years-old. Books will be available for sale and signed. Places must be booked by calling (0118) 978 1368.

 

Reading therapy dog talk

Come and meet pets as therapy dog Kali and hear from her owner about the work that she carries out, followed by a fun collage a dog craft activity at Wokingham Library on Friday 3 June from 10.30am to 11.30am. £1 charge, for children aged six to 10-years-old. Just drop in and create a sand art picture at Woodley Library on Friday 3 June from 11am to 12noon. £3 per picture, for children aged four to 11-years-old.

 

Saturday Storytime

Stories, rhymes and crafts for parents and children. Just drop-in to Wargrave Library on Saturday 4 June from 10.30am to 11am.

 

Spiral Workshop

Come and create your own spiral mobile, which you can paint and decorate. All materials are supplied. For children aged seven to 12-years-old. £5 charge, places must be booked by calling the relevant library.

All libraries will have activity tables for children with word searches and colouring sheets. There is also a selection of books, audio books and DVDs for you to borrow.
