Wokingham Library is thrilled to be welcoming successful local author Harry Dunn on 2 September to talk about his new eagerly awaited third instalment of his Jack Barclay crime series, ‘Death Run’.
Mr Dunn, a devoted member of the Wokingham Library writer’s group for many years, will be entertaining attendees with delightful anecdotes about his writing career, as well as answering questions and signing copies of his latest creation.
‘Death Run’, finds Private investigator Jack Barclay delving into the suspicious death of Eva’s twin Susan, where he quickly becomes embroiled in the dark world of drug trafficking.
Dunn’s previous book in the series ‘Forever Evil’ reached number three on Amazon UK's Best Sellers list for 'Private Investigator Mysteries', and hit the number one spot for crime fiction novels in both Canada and Australia. This best seller, together with ‘Smile of the Viper’, the first of the trilogy, are both available to borrow from Wokingham Library.
“We are thrilled to have local best-selling writer Harry Dunn launching his latest crime thriller ‘Death Run’ at Wokingham Library”, said Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure. “I know Mr Dunn, like me, is an enthusiastic supporter of our local library service, and we are all excited to read the latest instalment of his Jack Barclay crime series”
To find out more about ‘Death Run’ and Dunn’s writing career, head down to Wokingham Library at 545pm on Monday 2 September for a thriller evening where refreshments will be available. There is no need to book and all our welcome.
