Wokingham Borough Mayor, Cllr John Kaiser, officially opened the new boutique bar and bottle shop Sit and Sip, on Friday 3 May.
Located in the newly developed Peach Place, as part of our Wokingham town centre regeneration, Sit and Sip brings a funky lounge vibe to the heart of the town, making it a great place to catch up with friends and family.
The new bar specialises in craft beers and artisan gin but there is also a wide range of wine, spirits and soft drinks available. It has a tasting room concept, so you can try the latest flavours and products on offer then buy in store.
For the true beverage connoisseur, you can sign up to become a ‘tasting club member’ to receive the latest offers and be the first to hear about upcoming events and new product launches.
“It was a pleasure to officially open Sit and Sip in Wokingham,” said Cllr John Kaiser. “Founder James Mattingley has a real passion for his product and it’s great to see a local business like Sit and Sip successfully launch its concept in Wokingham town.
“From the busy opening night I feel Peach Place is going to become a real social hub for the town centre and I look forward to seeing more retailers and eateries opening up there in the future. “
Sit and Sip joins more businesses such as Gail’s Bakery, The Eden Lounge and Beyond the Download in Peach Place.
