Wokingham Borough Mayor, Cllr Bill Soane, is inviting local residents to don their dancing shoes for an evening of fun in aid of his chosen charity Debra UK. The Spring Soirée will take place at Lake Barn, Billingbear Farm, on Saturday 28 March, from 7 to 11.30pm.
Guests will be treated to a glass of bubbles on arrival and can enjoy a delicious hog roast, or a tasty vegetarian option. The evening’s entertainment will also include a DJ and dancefloor, and for those feeling lucky there will also be a charity raffle, with proceeds also going to Debra UK.
Borough Mayor Cllr Bill Soane said: “I am very excited to be hosting a Spring Soirée in support of Debra UK. The charity works hard to support people who suffer with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a group of genetic skin conditions that cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch.
“I hope lots of local people will join us and show their support to this amazing charity. The event will be great fun, not only is there a DJ, but there will be delicious food on offer and several excellent prizes up for grabs in our raffle.”
Tickets are £50 per person and can be purchased online here. Guests should dress to impress.
