Grease will be the word next month (Friday 5 August) when Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst hosts a family open air cinema event.
This is a first for Dinton Pastures and the evening will start at 7pm with a vintage four piece band called The Milkshakers who will be playing live music on the outdoor chequered dance floor.
The bullet catering trailer will be open serving American diner style food including hot dogs and pink lemonade. Once the sun has gone down the lawn will turn into a picnic blanketed and deck chair filled theatre where a showing of Grease will be screened until 11pm.
Standard ticket prices are £15 concession and £25 adults, with premium tickets available for those who would like food, popcorn and a deckchair included. This is a family event, with the suggested minimum age being eight, children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Cllr Angus Ross, executive member for environment, said: "This is a fabulous new addition to the family activities already on offer in the borough’s flagship country park. What better way to enjoy a summer evening, than in the outdoors at Dinton Pastures."
