With scaffolding coming down at Peach Place in Wokingham town centre work will now start on installing new underground services and relaying the footpath along the new Peach Street frontage.
In order to carry out works the existing wooden hoardings will be taken down overnight on Saturday 14 July and the existing single lane route to Broad Street realigned slightly to create a safe working zone alongside Peach Place.
In order to remove the hoardings Peach Street, Wokingham, will be completely closed overnight, from the junction with Easthampstead Road to Market Place, from 10pm on Saturday 14 July until 6am on Sunday 15 July.
The following westbound diversion route will be in place:
- Via Easthampstead Road, Heathlands Road, B3430 Nine Mile Ride, A321 Sandhurst Road, A321 Finchampstead Road, Molly Millars Lane, B3349 Barkham Road, A321 Station Approach,
Eastbound routes are unaffected by this overnight closure.
