A temporary shuttle bus was launched today (Monday, 22 November) to replace a section of Reading Buses' Leopard 3 route between Wokingham town and Reading.

The 3S service will run between Wokingham Broad Street and Rickman's Close in Arborfield, via Barkham Road.

It will be timed to meet the main Leopard service, which is being diverted via Finchampstead Road due to roadworks on Barkham Street which also prevent the bus from serving Barkham Road.

The works, which are being carried out by Gigaclear, will run until December 17.

Until then, there will be five journeys in each direction in the mornings and five more each way in the late afternoon and early evening. Each takes about 15 minutes.

Services will depart from Rickman Close, Arborfield at 6:55, 7:40, 8:25, 9:40, 10:40, 14:40, 15:20, 16:25, 17:45 and 18:40. They will leave from Broad Street, Wokingham at 7:10, 8:00, 8:45, 10:00, 11:00, 14:55, 15:40, 16:45, 18:05 and 18:55.

Reading Buses has put up notices alerting passengers to the changes at bus stops in the area.
