The summer holidays may be over but half term is already just round the corner. If you need to entertain the kids why not try one of our Wokingham Active Kids multi-sport sessions?

Run by Wokingham Borough Council’s sports and leisure team, the October half term activities for 5 – 12 year olds include trampolining, athletics, badminton, cricket, dodgeball and tennis - to name a just few.

Sessions will take place at Loddon Valley leisure centre from 28 October to 1 November. A one-to-one buddy scheme is available to allow children and young people with additional needs to attend too.

“We are so lucky to have such brilliant opportunities available for our children in Wokingham,” said Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure.

“Holiday camps like this give children the confidence to interact with new people, build friendships and stay active with all kinds of great sporting fun to be had.

“There’s not long until half term, so don’t forget to book to avoid disappointment. Whether it’s just a day session or the full week’s camp, there will be something for all children to enjoy.”

The fun doesn’t stop after October half term. There will be camps running during the Christmas holidays too. If you book both your October and Christmas holiday camps at the same time (a minimum of two days per holiday), you will receive 20 per cent off your bookings.

To book, you must complete the forms on our website. Once complete, email to sport@wokingham.gov.uk who will be in contact to organise payment.
