When:             Thursday 14 February, 1pm to 3pm

Where:            Wokingham Methodist Church, Rose  Street, Wokingham

Wokingham Borough Council’s Sports & Leisure team are urging residents to get on the dancefloor and join the fun at their upcoming Dementia-friendly Tea Dance on 14 February.

The dance, which takes place between 1pm to 3pm on the second Thursday of each month at Wokingham Methodist Church, Rose Street, Wokingham, is open to people living with dementia as well as their carers and family. Participants enjoy a mixture of salsa, ballroom and rock and roll music. Participants are supported by an experienced instructor.

Afterwards, attendees can relax with a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake. There is a small charge of £3 per person to cover refreshments and tuition, although carers are free of charge.
