Parking at Shute End

Visitor parking at Shute End

02 August 2018
Car park

You can still park at our Shute End offices between now & October (during work on the carpark) as the number of spaces for 17 visitors (30 min max), Blue Badge holders (6) & the Register Office (2) is the same.

You can also park here evenings and weekends if there’s space. But access is now via Station Road – not the former Shute End car park entrance.

Alternatively, we have created a leaflet (PDF) to help you showing the other town centre car parks you can choose from if the visitor bays are full.

The eastern section of Shute End at our Civic Offices car park is closed until autumn while the new through-road from Wellington Road to Shute End is being built as part of our multi-million regeneration scheme at Elms Field.

Council staff and elected members are now parking in other town centre car parks. Only a handful of staff with a Blue Badge, or temporary permit on agreed medical or wellbeing grounds, can now park at Shute End - the temporary permits are in their own dedicated bays, not visitor's.
