Caring can be a hugely rewarding experience but individuals often find it challenging to look after their own wellbeing whilst caring. Which is why, Places Leisure and Wokingham Borough Council has teamed up for Carers Week 2019. If you’re a Carer, enjoy access to services that promote your wellbeing, for free and at discounted prices!
Discounted gym and swim card for unpaid carers
If you’re an unpaid carer you can enjoy gym and swim sessions across all of Wokingham Borough Council’s leisure centres Once registered, you will pay only £2.50 each time you visit (subject to unpaid carer status).

Time to relax for working carers
Places Leisure is working in partnership with Wokingham Outreach Carers Service to offer a FREE, one-off exercise class for working carers.

FREE swim for ALL unpaid carers’ card members
Throughout Carers Week 2019, Places Leisure is offering FREE swimming at Loddon Valley and Carnival Pool to all our unpaid carers’ members. Make sure you sign up before Monday 10 June to make the most of this fantastic offer!

This NEW class will work strength, balance and stamina through a variety of exercises, helping make day to day tasks easier, and keep you fit and healthy.
