We are building a new £6million extra care facility on Fosters Lane in Woodley on the site of a former old people’s home.
Fosters Extra Care Scheme will offer 34 affordable one-bedroom apartments, with a private balcony or terrace, for frail elderly and those suffering from dementia. Communal facilities include two lounge areas, a dining room, laundry room, and accommodation for guests to stay over.
It is due to be finished in autumn 2017.
Our company Wokingham Housing Ltd is managing the project on our behalf, in partnership with developer R J Leighfield and Sons Ltd.
Once finished, the scheme will remain under WHL’s ownership with our care company Optalis as the provider.
