Twyford Library has been given a major refurbishment to solve a number of maintenance issues with the building.
The bulk of the windows have been replaced with new uPVC double glazing, and the walls and joinery inside painted. New carpet has also been laid throughout.
The roof height has been increased and additional insulation as well as new weatherproofing installed.
Outside, nearby trees have been cut back to reduce the risk of the building being damaged by branches and rain sodden leaves. And the car park markings have been redrawn to freshen them up and include accessible parking.
