What is the Mayor's role

The Mayor is the first citizen of the Wokingham Borough and is a non-political position. The Mayor chairs council meetings and also attends many functions in the Borough.


Mayor's charity 

The Mayor traditionally chooses a local charity to benefit from fundraising during their year in office. 


This year Cllr Smith has chosen to support Wokingham Foodbank.
